SEASON OF CHEERFUL GIVING
As the festive season approaches, we have a meaningful opportunity to unite as a community and bring joy to those who need it most.
This year, we're excited to partner with two wonderful non-profit organizations, Rise and Mt. St. Vincent, to spread extra holiday cheer. Both of these organizations are dedicated to supporting foster youth and the families who care for them. We’re organizing a gift card drive in November and putting together Christmas baskets in December for families who could use a little extra love during the holidays. These heartwarming initiatives give us a chance to make a tangible difference for local families facing tough times.

GIFT CARD DRIVE
This event is so much more than a gift card drive—it’s a heartfelt way to make a lasting impact on the lives of foster families and youth. Whether it is a grocery gift card or Target gift card, this simple gesture can provide foster parents with the flexibility to meet unexpected needs, from picking up essentials to celebrating milestones and creating lasting memories together. For foster youth, these cards can mean new school supplies or creating new memories around the dinner table.
Both Rise & Mt. St. Vincent will use these gift cards through out the year as a much needed resource to love on the families that are saying "yes!" to foster care. These cards are a powerful way to say “we see you” and “you are not alone”—whether it’s to help with an immediate placement or its just been a hard day helping their foster care kiddo regulate to a new environment.
If you feel led to give, we’re collecting gift cards in $25–$50 amounts to places like King Soopers, Walmart, Target, Starbucks, fast-food restaurants, or Uber/GrubHub.
Gift card “Stockings” will be available for pick-up on Wednesday and Thursday, November 13th & 14th at both the 2:30 pm and 4:00 pm pick-ups, where we’ll have a table set up in the car line. We kindly ask that all gift card donations be dropped off by November 19th. Thank you for helping us make this season brighter for foster families.

Spread Christmas Joy: Help Us Fill Baskets for Foster Care Families
Christmas is a season of joy, connection, and generosity. It's a time when communities come together to celebrate, care for one another, and share a little extra love. This year, we invite you to join us in a special mission to bring the warmth of Christmas into the lives of foster care families. We’re putting together 15 Christmas baskets for families involved in foster care through both Rise and Mt. St Vincent.
These baskets will be more than just gifts—they’ll be symbols of hope and support, reminding these families that there’s a larger community standing with them, praying for them, and cheering them on. Foster care families often go above and beyond to provide for children, and many times their needs can feel overwhelming, especially during the holidays. By giving a Christmas basket, you’re not only offering holiday cheer, but you’re showing these families that they are seen, valued, and supported.
What’s Inside Each Basket?
Let's help create some memories and be apart of bringing the whole family together!! The idea behind these baskets is that the whole family is cared for and thought of, while also offering a way to create memories and joy during the holidays!
If you feel called to participate and donate other items, here is what will be put in each basket:
