Parent partnership
Acts Academy exists to provide a Bible-based education to students while partnering with parents to raise disciples rooted in Jesus and His Word. To put it simply, Bible-Based Education + Parent Partnership = Disciples. Parent partnership is central to our mission at Acts Academy. We believe parents are the primary educators and disciplers of their children, and our role is to come alongside families in this journey.
We are all on team Acts Academy, and we are most effective when we row in the same direction together to ensure our students meet academic standards and reach their full potential as disciples for Christ.
Parent partnership at Acts Academy is multi-faceted and needs to be a high priority for this model of education to be successful. Our four-day week, shorter day, and shorter year lends itself to intentional family time and household rhythms. However, it necessitates parent involvement in a variety of ways due to our shortened timeframe in class. The below guide outlines how this partnership looks in practice so families can clearly understand expectations and feel equipped to succeed.
We encourage all potential and current families to carefully read through this guide and reach out to our Executive team with any questions or concerns.
