Uniforms & DRESS CODE
All Students in Junior Kindergarten - 7th grade are required to follow Acts Academy's Uniform Guidelines.
boys' uniformsTOPS: Polo (long or short sleeve) in Navy Blue, Khaki, Gray (all shades), Hunter Green (no other shades of green), Black or White. Acts Academy Logo is optional. Undershirts, including long sleeve shirts, must also be in uniform colors and free from any writing. No tears or holes. BOTTOMS: Pants, Shorts, or Joggers in Navy Blue, Khaki, Gray (all shades), Hunter Green (no other shades of green), Black or White. Athletic joggers and golf shorts/pants are approved. Corduroy, Cotton sweatpants and mesh shorts or pants are not approved. Joggers should be a rayon, nylon, and/or polyester blend. Shorts should be no shorter than 4 inches above the knee. No loose sweatpants, pajama pants, or bottoms with tears, holes, or logos. OUTERWEAR: Pullovers, Zip-up Fleece, Vests, Jackets, and Sweaters/Cardigans worn in the building in Navy Blue, Gray (all shades), Hunter Green (no other shades in green), Black or White. ("Hoodies/hooded sweatshirts, jackets, and/or pullovers are not permitted in the building.) No patterns or brand logos on items worn in the building. *Coats, Vests or Jackets worn outside may be any color and may have a hood. SHOES/SOCKS: Shoes should be close-toed and appropriate for P.E., recess, and running outside. Visible socks should be in uniform colors (white, gray, hunter green, navy blue, and black are permitted). HATS: Hats are not permitted at any time throughout the day, including recess. The only exception to this rule is winter hats/ear muffs outside during recess. |
Girls' uniformsTOPS: Polo (long or short sleeve) in Navy Blue, Khaki, Gray (all shades), Hunter Green (no other shades of green), Black or White. Acts Academy Logo is optional. BOTTOMS/DRESSES; Jumpers, Pants, Leggings with back pockets, Capris, Skorts, Shorts, or Dresses in Navy Blue, Khaki, Gray (all shades), Hunter Green (no other shades of green), Black, White, or Plaid (in above color scheme only). Leggings without pockets must be covered by a skirt or dress. Shorts, skorts, skirts, and dresses must be modest and no shorter than four inches above the knee. These items should be fingertip length or longer. Fingertip length is measured by hanging your arms relaxed by your sides (no shrugged shoulders or curled fingers). If any skin is felt on the fingertips, the item is too short to wear in the building. other UNIFORM SPECIFICS
- Solid color tops only. (Cotton and/or Polyester blend moisture wicking fabric approved.)
- No patterns or brand logos on dresses, tops or bottoms.
- Shorts, skirts, skorts, and dresses should be fingertip length when arms are relaxed at sides (i.e. no shrugging).
- Items may be purchased from the vendor of your choice. (French Toast, Children's Place, Target, and Walmart all have great options!)
- If you are unsure if an item will meet uniform requirements, please contact a staff member prior to purchasing.
- Dress code is optional for Little Disciples students.
