Christmas outreach
As we approach this festive holiday season, we have a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community and spread joy to those in need.
This year, we are thrilled to offer a few different opportunities through the Blessing Store at the Tin Shed Food Pantry and All In Fostering Futures (ministry for aged out foster youth). Both are heartwarming initiatives that allow us to make a real difference in the lives of local families facing challenges. As you feel led, please check out all of the sign-ups and do not hesitate to reach out with any questions. To make sure these different initiatives are well run, we are looking for several volunteers!

The Blessings Store
During this holiday season, it has been laid on our hearts to serve the children of the families that visit the Tin Shed Food Pantry. The Tin Shed Food Pantry is run out of the Clear Creek Church within the gymnasium of Acts Academy and serves 400 families each week, a substantial increase from the 200 families they served last year. The gift distribution will be on Tuesday, December 12th.
We have had almost 250 children sign up for the Blessings Store, so this will be an all-hands-on-deck project to ensure we can meet all requested needs. Please feel free to forward this e-mail to friends and family who may want to participate as well. Click below to signup for one or more gifts arranged by age. Please pick just one gift per child (coat, toy, or $25 gift card) and label with their name.
Hygiene Product Gift Bags: Along with our toy & winter coat donation for the Christmas Blessing Store, we will be attaching a hygiene gift bag to each gift. Hygiene products are ALWAYS in high demand, the first to go, and very limited at the food pantry.
The gift distribution will be on Tuesday, December 12. Please bring all gifts by Monday, December 11 and make sure they are wrapped, and labeled with the child's name and family number.
Volunteering: To make sure the Blessing Store is well run, there are many different areas to volunteer! We would love to see you to help spread Christmas joy!

All in fostering futures
At Acts Academy, we strive to be the hands and feet of Jesus through impacting our community. We are doing this through our outreach commitment serving in different facets of the Foster Care System. This holiday season, we are coming alongside a very special non-profit, called All In Fostering Futures. They primarily serve foster alumni who have aged out or once been in the system.
All In Fostering is hosting 20 alumni (kids in foster care that have aged out) for an intimate conference to build their faith, community, strength, and hear from them to make an impact within Colorado's aged out youth in foster care. This is a unique and fun opportunity to love on these young adults! Please join us by filling up 4 baskets with a theme of: "Colorado Winter Warm". These baskets are specifically for females who have aged out of foster care (another group is taking care of the males). These items need to be dropped off by Thursday, December 7th.
