Middle Grades
Our middle grades classes use a unit study approach to help engage students and keep them excited about learning. Students receive direct instruction in Bible, math, writing, and reading and also complete self-selected, self-paced unit studies throughout the day. These studies through Gather Round and Campfire Curriculum are picked in advance by students. Most students will complete one unit study every one-two months and will present their findings to their class upon completion. Students in the middle grades can attend electives if they choose to, or they can participate in other service projects/learning opportunities within the building.
In addition to our academic focus, we prioritize character development and spiritual growth for all of our students. We believe Bible-based, Christian education is more than just academics and feel strongly that students' character and relationship with the Lord will have the most impact on their success in life and the contributions they make to society.
