Governance

Acts Academy has multiple layers of governance to ensure we stay true to our mission and vision as a ministry.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Our Board of Directors is composed of members from the community with backgrounds in a variety of fields including: education, business, fundraising, counseling, ministry, and non-profit experience. In addition, our board includes at least 2 parents of current students to ensure the board is always keeping students' best interest in mind. This board serves as oversight for all committees and is the final say on all ministry-related matters.

Acts Academy is led by our Executive Directors, Brittany and Preston, who guide the overall vision, growth, and long-term sustainability of the ministry. While their focus is on big-picture leadership and future planning, they remain actively involved in the daily life of the ministry. Their heart for the mission of Acts and their hands-on leadership provide clarity, direction, and stability as our community continues to grow.

To support the daily operations of Acts Academy, we have a team of five Directors who oversee key areas of ministry life. Each Director brings deep experience and passion to their role, helping ensure our staff, students, and families are well-supported:

Sarah Borman, Director of Discipleship – Spiritual growth and staff care
Lynn Emrick, Director of Events & Outreach – School events, service projects, and community engagement
Pat Howes, Director of Students – Student behavior, discipline, and culture-building
Mandi Ross, Director of Academics – Curriculum, instruction, and academic standards
Ashlie Steele, Director of Operations – Administrative systems, technology, and enrollment
