2026 Field day
***We are planning to have field day at Fairmount Park. If the weather does not cooperate, we will change the location to Apex Field House. In case of inclement weather, a text confirming the location will go out by 8:00 AM!**
Date: Thursday, May 20th
Time: 9 AM - 12 PM **Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to give yourself time to park**
Location: Fairmount Park located at 5222 Quaker Street, Golden 80403
Parking: Parking lot at the park.
Overflow Parking: If the parking lot is full, please park at 16240 W. 54th Avenue, Golden 80403. White house on the south side of 54th. Please go to the back of the lot to park. There is a path to Fairmont Park on the far south side of the lot.
Food: We will provide snow cones for students, parents, and staff. There will not be lunch that day, but families are encouraged to bring a packed lunch and eat at the park after the Field Day activities.
Field Day Shirts: Each class wears a color-specific Acts Academy Field Day shirt that can be ordered here no later than April 23rd. Students may wear their shirt from last year. If you need a replacement shirt or are new to Acts Academy this year, please make sure to order the correct class color as this helps staff keep classes grouped during the event!
Dress: Free dress day including your class Field Day shirt and tennis shoes. Uniforms are not required, but all clothing should be modest. Hats and hoodies ARE allowed!
When you arrive: Please have your student meet their teacher near the picnic tables when they arrive at the park. **Please do NOT allow students to play on playground. We will have plenty of time to do this after our field day activities!**
