Mission
"Now the full number of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one said that any of the things that belonged to him was his own, but they had everything in common. And with great power the apostles were giving their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all. There was not a needy person among them, for as many as were owners of lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold and laid it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to each as any had need." Acts 4:32-35 ESV
Acts Academy was founded on three key pillars. We strive to view the world through the lens of Scripture, live our lives according to the Gospel, and fulfill the mission to create Disciples.
Viewing the World Through the Lens of Scripture As a school, we filter everything through God’s word, and we want to teach our students to do the same. We invite God into every area of our day. From math and science to reading and history, we incorporate Jesus every chance we get! We use Bible-based curriculum, employ Biblical worldview shaping, and hold daily chapel. In addition, all staff members have a personal relationship with the Lord and are excited to teach in a school where they can share their faith, pray over their students and families, and foster an unapologetically Christian learning environment. |
Living Our Lives According to the Gospel We truly want to be the hands and feet of Jesus, and we want to teach our students to do this too. We aim to give our students and families the opportunity to put this learning into action through various outreach programs we partner with. We want to help students understand what God calls them to do and who He is calling them to be while equipping them to go out and put that calling into action. We believe the Bible is the ultimate authority and guide for our lives, and we will always direct students back to God’s Word for guidance. |
Fulfilling the Mission to Create Disciples Our world is changing. As Christ-followers, we believe one of the most important things we can do to make a positive impact in this world is to teach the next generation of children to truly know and follow Jesus. We are returning to the foundational values of our faith, centered on Christ and His Word, the core family, service to our community, and character modeled after Jesus’ example and the fruits of the Spirit. We want to provide our children with a firm Biblical foundation and make as many disciples as possible, equipping them to stand boldly for truth in order to go out and fulfill the Great Commission. |
